Don't think you will and the Tigers will need it though. You will be sad to
see what has become of the shell of a team that used to be the Bearcats. I
keep thinking the seniors will somehow will one more good year, but after 4
games, I have seen nothing to make me think it should happen.

Jon,

The Bearcat Basketball team looked impressive against the University of
Memphis Collegiate NBA team, so I hope you are not talking about the
roundball. When was the last time Memphis won at Shoe???? The game was
closer than the final score!!!!! The Bearcats are going to make the Big East
Suffer! Memphis, on the other hand, will suffer a surprise sneak setback to
a weak team. Hey they face Providence Saturday.

As far as in football, Memphis is just fortunate to be where they are. They
are on their 4th string quarterback, a receiver that had not played
quarterback since high school, Maurice Avery.

You know, even on the worst of years, Memphis would attract 20-30,000 fans,.
now they have 40-50,000 at a game. I was not really excited about Tommy
West, he seemed like another in the many of guys taking a career ending job,
but he is the right man at the right time for the job.

We fans with very little success in football are glad for the recent success
and three Bowls in a row is success!

I am not sure the Bearcats made the right decision moving, but if the fans
will be patient, I think the program will improve to the point of fighting
for the top spot.

How about TCU, they left the C-USA because of being stuck in Bowls like the
Ft Worth Bowl and now they are in the Houston Bowl. BIG improvement.
Louisville made a jump to the Gator bowl, and that is an improvement.. The
teams that were improved the most in the reshuffling are UCF and USF. both
programs went up a couple of notches.

when you bought you ticket, you could
bank on seeing the bottom of the ninth.
